Opposition Democratic Party has condemned the unclear kidnap and murder of Ugandan musician and people power supporter Michael Kalinda known as Ziggy wine.
Ziggy wine was kidnapped last week by unknown people who later allegedly dumped him at Mulago hospital with his one eye plucked out and fingers chopped off.
He succumbed to the injuries on Sunday night at Mulago hospital.
Addressing journalists at their party headquarters this morning, the Bukomansimbi Member of Parliament Deo Kiyingi said that this gruesome murder is clearly politically motivated.
He has called upon police to make quick investigations into his murder.
