The embattled Director Parliament Budget Office is challenging the manner in which the IGG is handling the corruption allegations leveled against him.
Last week the Anti-corruption court ordered the arrest of Samuel Wanyaka, on charges embezzlement, abuse of office and false accounting of over Shs.800m.
The money was meant for conducting service delivery surveys in Uganda.
Chief Magistrate Sarah Langa issued the warrant of arrest on the request of officers from Inspectorate of Government.
However, Isaac Ssemakadde, one of the lawyers representing Wanyaka says this may be costly to the tax payer.
The case is before the High Court Judge Lydia Mugamba who is set to give a ruling on Friday.
