Hearing of the case in which celebrated video jockey, Mary Smarts Matovu, aka VJ Junior is accused of selling pornographic material has failed to kick off this morning.
This is after prosecution failed to produce witnesses as directed earlier.
VJ Junior was on May 26th of May charged with selling pornographic videos before Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate Jamson Kareemani and he denied the offence.
Prosecution states that VJ junior on May 23rd 2017 while at Zai PLaza and Majestic plaza in Kampala sold pornographic movies to Detective Corporal Namugala Aisha and a one Frank Ntambi –and act that was intended to corrupt public morals.
According to prosecution, VJ Junior’s action contrived the Anti-Pornography Law.
The case has been adjourned to July 11th.
