Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC forward Abubakar Lawal has died following a motor crash on Entebbe Road on Monday morning.
He was 29. The Nigerian attacker joined the Kitende-based club in July 2022 after nearly two years with AS Kigali. He played a crucial role in Vipers’ 2022/23 Uganda Premier League title victory, which they secured on goal difference ahead of KCCA FC. Read more
