Veteran journalists honoured
President Yoweri Museveni has decorated over 50 civil servants at the ongoing Labor Day celebrations in Gulu.
Among those awarded include veteran journalist Baale Francis, Patrick Luwandaga, Hajji Abdu Nsereko, Dick Mulima Sempaka among other civil servants.
The president also honored Dr. Mathew Lokwiya posthumously for his selfless services rendered to the country. He died on duty as he treated Ebola patients.
The national Labour Day celebrations are being held at Kaunda grounds in Gulu district under the theme ‘social dialogue for industrial harmony’.
