The United States has issued a warning to its citizens in Uganda to be cautious ahead of the 2014 World Cup games.
The games kick off next week on Thursday up to July 13, 2014.
The advisory comes close to 4 years after twin bombs rocked Kyadondo Rugby Grounds and Ethiopian village restaurant, killing over 70 people and hundreds injured.
In a statement issued this evening, the US Embassy in Uganda urges its citizens to exercise caution while attending large viewing establishments that may attract large crowds.
The embassy says with continued terror alerts issued by the Uganda police, citizens should be cautious around hotels, nightclubs, shopping malls and public transportation, among others.
