The search for a new Commissioner General of URA may commence soon.

This is after the current head; Allen Kagina announced her exit from the tax body today when she appeared before Parliament’s finance committee.

Kagina says she has served her term diligently and would like to pursue private ventures.

Kagina joined URA in 1998 as a Senior Principal Revenue Officer, growing into the ranks until 2004 when she was appointed Commissioner General.
