Uphold Islamic tenets, Ambassador Delisi
Muslims have been asked to continue to strengthen their faith even after Ramadhan.
This is the message from the United States Mission as Muslims prepare to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr tomorrow.
In a statement, U.S Ambassador to Uganda, Scott De Lisi says they should continue to uphold the religion’s tenets, including giving to the poor, as well as forgiveness.
De Lisi says they should continue to pray and renew their faith even after the fasting period is over.
