The UPDF has flagged off five teams, comprising of 101 players to participate in the 8th Edition of EAC military games in Zanzibar.
These will take part in Football, handball, cross-country, netball and basketball.
Flagging off these teams at Mbuya military barracks, the deputy chief of defense forces Major general Charles Angina said the games are instrumental in promoting bonding and social cohesion among east African forces.
The games are scheduled to start on 18-31 this month in Zanzibar Tanzania.
