Government has identified more ideal spots for industrial parks.
22 more areas have been earmarked for construction of industrial parks similar to that of Namanve.
The Executive Director Uganda Investment Authority Frank Ssebowa says these will be constructed in Kasese, Moroto, Mbale, Jinja, and Bweyogerere among other places.
Ssebowa says the move is intended to provide more investment space now that Namanve is almost filled up.
Meanwhile Ssebowa says that at least 277 companies are set to start business in Namanve.
