Uganda’s ministry of education and sports has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of Japan to host Uganda during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic games.

Izumisano city Osaka will host the Uganda national team during the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic games and will provide training grounds to the teams in preparation for the games.

The Minister of state for sports Charles Bakabulindi said the agreement will not only promote sports but also strengthen the relationship between the people of Japan and Uganda.
