Uganda moves one place up in FIFA rankings

Uganda has improved by one place in the latest FIFA rankings released today.

Uganda is now ranked 76th from 77th with 464 points while Rwanda remained the best placed country in the CECAFA region at position number 72.

Algeria is Africa’s top ranked country, and is 18th in the world.

World champions Germany remain top of the Rankings.

Ivory Coast have leapt up the latest Fifa world rankings after winning the Africa Cup of Nations.
Equatorial Guinea, hosts of the Nations Cup which ended on Sunday, soared into the top 50 for the first time.
The worst movers in the world this month were Libya, who dropped 35 places to 113th.
