The national football team, the Uganda Cranes will camp in Istanbul, Turkey as part of their preparations for their World Cup deciding qualifier against Senegal on September 7th.
This has been confirmed by Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic while addressing the media in Kampala.
The Serbian also said that the Cranes will start training in Kampala with available players this afternoon.
Uganda will also play a friendly against Botswana in Gaborone on August 31 en route to Istanbul.
Micho is confident the game against Botswana and the camp in Istanbul will help prepare the players mentally and physically for the tough assignment against Senegal.
The Senegal-Uganda match will be played in Marrakesh – Morocco.
Uganda must beat the Lions of Teranga two weeks from now if they are to make it to the final round of the 2014 World Cup qualification.
