The Uganda Cranes hope to use the build-up game to be played on Malawi’s Independence day as a warm up for the CAF U-23 match against Egypt on July 18th 2015.

Darious Mugoye the leader of the 18-man delegation that traveled to Malawi last evening says the team is all set for the 4:30 game to be played at – Kamuzu Stadium, Blantyre despite travel hitches.

It had been scheduled to leave in the morning finally departed at 8:00 pm for Malawi via South Africa after a delay by South African Airlines

Some of the Players on the squad include: Alitho James, Kigonya Mathias, Bukenya Deus, Ochwo Brian, Kiyemba Ibrahim, Kassga Richard Juuko, Bakai Shafiq, Tekkwo Derrick, Kizito Keziron, Kiiza Martin, Eturude Abel, Miya Faruku, Ssemazzi John, Fahad Muhammed Hassan, Lwanga Taddeo, Sekisambu Erisa, Sentamu Junior Yunus and Kasumba Umaru
