Kampala capital city authority has closed the food court at Uchumi garden city branch over poor Hygiene.
The affected area includes kitchens and serving areas for failure to meet the required health standards.
KCCA deputy spokesperson Robert Kalumba says they had earlier sent notices to Uchumi but all in vain.
The management of Uchumi led by the country director has convened an urgent meeting and promises to issue out a media statement as soon as possible.
