The Uganda Communication Commission has started analyzing a TV program in which a political commentator Charles Rwomusahana is alleged to have defamed honorable members of parliament.

It is alleged that while at one of the local television stations, Rwomushana defamed members by calling them prostitutes.

Now while briefing parliament today, the minister for information Frank Tumwebaze said they have instructed the communications regulator to closely study the said program and establish if the content was defamatory.

He said that a concrete report is to be presented soon and action taken basing on findings.
