The Uganda Bureau of Statistics has today started enumerating people who missed the national census exercise in August.
The bureau’s director of social economic surveys James Muwonge says the exercise runs from today until November 5th in eleven districts.
He says UBOS has decided to carry out post census enumeration exercise because many people especially those living in urban areas had missed out.
Muwonge adds though that this time the questions will be different and less than the earlier ones.
According to Muwonge, statistics so far from the last census indicate that 97% were counted and their intention is to make sure that everyone is counted in order to give a holistic report.
The districts chosen for enumeration include Wakiso, Masaka, Rakai and Mpigi among others.
