Government is to establish more technical oil and gas institutions in Nwoya and Kicwamba districts respectively.
The move is aimed at producing more skilled people who are to boost the oil sector in the Albertine region.

In a related development the assistant commissioner exploration directorate of petroleum at the energy ministry, Frank Mugisha says 16 out of 17 companies have qualified to join the biding stage to drill oil.
