A traffic officer attached to Wandegeya police station has been knocked dead along Northern bypass.
The accident occurred at Kiwatule by pass this morning as the officer returned from Namugongo where he had been on duty.
The Officer in Charge of Traffic at Wandegeya police station, Julius Opus has identified the deceased as David Rwakikala
The body has been taken to Mulago hospital for a postmortem as investigations continue.
