South Sudan Uganda forces

New security alerts have been issued to Ugandan Traders operating in South Sudan.

This follows a spate of robbery of goods in transit along the Yei – Yambio and Yambio – Wau roads since early June.

Traders plying the South Sudan route have registered incidents of armed robberies and torching of their vehicles.

The Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan and UPDF therefore call upon all traders plying these routes to take the necessary precautions until they are assured of total security.

This comes as the UPDF Together with SPLA work together to flush out the armed robbers responsible for the insecurity.
