Uganda traders in South Sudan have suspended the proposed demonstration over compensation
The traders under the Uganda South Sudan Traders Association had planned a peaceful match through the city to show their discontent over government’s delay to fulfill its promise to compensate them.
Traders chairman Patrick Ntege says the president has accepted to meet them hence the decision to suspend the demonstration.
The traders are seeking compensation for merchandise due to alleged harassment and torture by the South Sudanese.
