About 7200 students from Kyambogo University will today be awarded degrees, diplomas, Masters and PhDs from different disciplines.
The graduation ceremony that runs up to Friday will be presided over by the university Chancellor Prof. John Ssebuwufu and a total of 211 students will be awarded 1st class degrees.
The university Spokesperson Lawrence Madete says the number of female students graduating from the university has increased to up to 50.3%.
Madete says this year’s good performance is a reflection of the harmony exhibited at the university during the entire academic year.
