The Youth wing of the Democratic Party has condemned the Party President, Norbert Mao for wanting to silence the youth voice of the party.
Addressing Journalists earlier today, the secretary general of the Uganda Young Democrats Charles Wasswa says the disciplinary due to sit in April is targeted to silence the youth because the other members summoned to the committee are no longer part of the party.
In a Tuesday weekly press Conference, Norbert Mao released a list of 12 people summoned by National Executive Committee to take plea in a disciplinary committee. Among those summoned include; Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, Haji Muhammad Kezaala and Alhaji Nasser Ntege Ssebaggala and three other members from the youth Wing.
According to Wasswa the 9 people summoned will not appear since they are no longer part of the party thus making it a targeted committee to silence the Youth and sell the party.
