Wakiso and Mukono districts have agreed to hire surveyors to confirm the proper Boundaries in the disputed Namanve industrial area.

The two parties have had a meeting where they also agreed to carryout Boundary re-opening for a moment in order to keep a good relationship.

The CAO of Mukono Luke Lukorimo Lukuda says both parties will incur the costs for the opening.

This has followed a cold war between the two, which started early this year when Wakiso removed Mukono district local government sign-post and confiscated it claiming it’s in their land.

In the same way, the Buganda Kingdom is to demarcate the boundaries of Kyaggwe and Kyadondo counties also in Namanve, a ceremony slated for Saturday by the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi 2, as part of the Buganda Local government Day Cerebrations.
