The high rate of teenage pregnancies among school going children is worrying female Members of Parliament.
Currently, Uganda has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates, standing at 24%.
National Youth MP, Monica Amoding says many girls, especially in rural areas, are getting pregnant due to lack of adequate education on reproductive health.
Amoding says the ministries of health and education should formulate programmes for schools and integrate them into the school curriculum.
