A teacher of Amun primary school in Apac Sub County is nursing bruises inflicted on him by one of the parents who raided a P7 classroom where he was conducting mathematics test and rained blows on him.
The pupils watched their helpless teacher being beaten and dragged on the ground outside the class room before he was rescued by fellow staff.
Okot Ray who is also the vice chairman of Parents & Teachers Association attacked the teacher identified as Darius Okello accusing him of beating his daughter for failing a math test.
The District Inspector of School Andrew Omunu an impromptu PTA meeting has now resolved to relieve Okot from his position of vice chairman as investigations continue.
