Student drags former School to court over negligence that cost her her virginity

A Student drags to court her former School, Namirembe Hillside High School seeking, for a recovery of 100 million shillings in damages over negligence that cost her, her virginity when she got raped by a fellow student.
Lydia Kamwine says she was in senior five third term when the traumatizing incident befell her in February 2016 following her admission to this school.
She claims that on 26/October/2016 around lunchtime 1:30pm, her tormenter Geoffrey Kalemera of senior six unlawfully intercepted her, as she was coming from another class, dragged her up to a senior 2 class room and pounced on her, up to 2pm when Kalemera realized that students were returning to class for the afternoon lessons.
That she then reported the matter to the Headmaster who instead asked her to make a written apology that subsequently earned her an indefinite suspension, a result of which she also missed writing her third term promotional exams.
Through Pearl Advocates and Solicitors Kamwine contends that the conduct of the Headmaster and the entire school administration of failing to subject her case to a prompt and appropriate scrutiny, or forwarding the same to police for investigation and necessary action, amounted to negligence, discrimination and breach of parental duty of care the School owed her.
She petition the High court in Kampala to issue declarations that the School was negligent against her student, and an order to pay her 100 million shillings in damages for the injuries, humiliation, and loss of self-esteem, mental anguish and inconvenience she suffered.
