KCCA FC’s assistant coach, Luis Manuel Correira has also left the club, just a day after the departure of the club’s head coach Sergio Traguil.
The duo’s departure was confirmed in a press statement released by the club last evening.
KCCA FC stated that Sergio had family issues that required his immediate attention and both parties agreed to mutually part ways.
The club also confirmed the departure of assistant coach Manuel Correira, something that has left a lot of questions lingering in the minds of the fans.
Under the stewardship of the two, KCCA FC lost all four Uganda Premier League games and were eliminated in the CAF Confederations Cup.
According to the letter, the club will be coached by first-team coach Jackson Magera Kaddu on an interim basis with immediate effect.
“KCCA FC and Head Coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil have today mutually parted ways with immediate effect,” the club states.
“Assistant Manager, Luis Manuel Correira Guerrero also leaves the club,” the statement reads further.
The club wished Traguil and Manuel well in their endeavours and also wished new interim coach Magera and the team the best of luck. They also called upon stakeholders to give them the necessary support.
