More trouble seems to be brewing for embattled Bubuulo West Member of Parliament.
Following news that Tony Kipoi had been arrested in neighboring DR Congo under unclear circumstances, the Speaker of Parliament has now ordered that he appears tomorrow.
Speaker Rebecca Kadaga has told Parliament that Kipoi had written to her seeking a 90-day leave but it was not granted because the letter had not been signed by him.
She therefore says Kipoi must appear before the rules, privileges and discipline committee tomorrow and explain himself.
Kipoi who is facing charges of treason over an alleged plot to overthrow the government, is said to have been arrested on Thursday in Fataki, about 35 kms from Mahagi.
This was two days after the Congolese national army raided a camp used by a suspected rebel group carrying out military training in Ituri.
