Soldier shoots nine dead

Nine people have been shot dead by a UPDF soldier.

Private Chris Amanyire went to rampage after fighting with with a bodaboda cyclist over a woman.

Twelve others have been critically injured and rushed to hospital.

The incident occurred at Karugutu trading center in Ntoroko district.

The dead include 5 soldiers and four civilians

UDPF 2^nd division spokesperson Maj Ronald Kakulungu has confirmed the incident.
