UPDF soldier Herbert Rwakihembo has been convicted of man slaughter.
The chairman of the divisional court martial Col. Geoffrey Kakama said that prosecution had proved without reasonable doubt that Rwakuhembo killed the three people.
Col Kakama however also said that though there were deaths, the accused had no malice afore thought and there was proof that he had been provoked.
Prosecution led by Capt Victor Chemusu is asking court to give the accused a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
Defense lawyers led by 2nd Lt. Alex Mukwana are however asking for a minimum sentence since there was proof of provocation.
Court has now been adjourned briefly before the chairman can make a ruling on the sentence.
