The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has ordered the trial of Kampala City socialite and businessman Nasser Nduhukire, also known as Don Nasser, before the International Crimes Division of the High Court. Don Nasser is facing charges of aggravated trafficking and sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old girl.

After concluding its investigation, the police determined that there is sufficient evidence to support the charges against Don Nasser.

Don Nasser was arrested in September 2024 in neighboring Kenya, where he was apprehended while attempting to evade arrest.

He is accused of transporting a 16-year-old girl from Tangole Apartments in Kamwokya along Acacia Avenue and harboring her at his residence in Kito Zone, Kira Division, for four days from May 23rd to 27th, 2024.

Don Nasser is jointly charged with 19-year-old Promise Atete, who was charged with procuring sexual exploitation.

Both Don Nasser was further remanded to Luzira Prison on November 25, 2024, until he is summoned by the High Court for trial.
