Six inmates have escaped from Muyinayina Government Prison in Kasambya Sub County in Mubende district.
The head of prisons central region James Onegi has confirmed the arrest of four of them saying the two are still at large.
He says the inmates were serving sentences relating to murder and defilement.
He says those arrested are to be arraigned in court and charged with attempting to escape though one of them is critically wounded following a scuffled with the prison warders.
This is the second time inmates have escaped from this prison.
Recently 12 others escaped and are yet to be arrested.
