Sheikh Sulaiman Kasule Ndirangwa is the new Supreme Mufti.
The Kibuli Muslim leadership unveiled the new Supreme Mufti following a meeting of eminent sheikhs led by Sheikh Abdul Obeid Kamulegeya.
He replaces Sheikh ZubairKayongo who died early this year.
He is to be deputized by Mahmoud Kibaate and Sheikh Habib Kabasa.
Outspoken Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata becomes the new spokesperson of the Kibuli faction, replacing the late Hassan Kirya.
Speaking shortly after he was unveiled, Ndirangwa has asked God guide his in delivering on this great responsibility.
He has also asked for God’s protection and Guidance in choosing the country’s leaders.
