By Ruth Anderah:

The International Crimes Division Court has sentenced Sheikh Yunus Kamoga the leader of the Tablic Muslim sect, his brother Multabh Bukenya and two others Sheikh Siraje Kawooya and Shiekh Multabh Bukenya to life imprisonment for committing acts of terrorism.

Justices Ezekiel Muhanguzi, Percy Tuhaise and Jane Kiggudu have condemned the 4 sheikhs who are Muslim leaders  for orchestrating terrorism instead of triggering their efforts to developing and uniting  their communities.

The judges have also sentenced 2 other Muslims Yusuf Kakande and Abdu-Salam Ssekayanja to 30 years in prison each because they were just followers who would not give any commands

While sentencing the 6, the justices noted that the sheikhs were convicted of a serious offense of Terrorism which has a global impact on the welfare of communities and the Environment at large.

These are part of 14 people of which 8 were released yesterday that had been trial for the murder of 2 Muslim clerics in the country.
