The Electoral Commission today officially ends the receiving of nomination forms for presidential aspirants.

The Electoral Commission spokesperson, Jotham Taremwa says no extra time will be given to those who will not make it by tomorrow.

Taremwa further notes that the extension is meant to give the commission adequate time to prepare for presidential nominations slated for 5th and 6th October at Namboole stadium.

So far a number of presidential aspirants have managed to return forms and these include independent Amama Mbabazi, FDC’S Kizza Besigye, PDP’S Abed Bwanika, Independent Venasious Baryamureba and Independent Joseph Mabirizi among others.
