The UPDF Contingent in Central African Republic has captured one of the commanders of the Lord’s resistance army.
Lt Charles Okello was captured in a battle that took place 20km West of Bakuma.
The UPDF spokesperson Lt col Paddy Ankunda says the force was also able to rescue ten abductees including seven children.
Three guns, one Walkie Talkie radio and dozens of lost ammunition were also recovered.
Another rebel identified as James Onen was also captured.
