The Uganda Prisons has registered an improvement in the performance of prisoners in the just released Primary Leaving Examinations results.
Speaking to KFM, the Prison’s publicist, Frank Beine said the prisons registered 7 students in first grade; 31 in Division 2; 13 in Division 3, 6 in Division 4, 3 in Division U while 9 missed the examinations.
Beine says Semakula Frank was the best student with a total of Aggregate 8, having scored 2 aggregates in all four subjects.
He says prisons garnered a 95% success rate in the 2011 examinations.
