Prison escapee charged and remand to Luzira prison

A 32 year old man has been charged and remanded to Luzira prison for escaping from lawful custody.

Kassim Kakembo was charged before City Hall Court Grade one magistrate Elias Kakooza and denied the offence.

Prosecution states that Kakembo is battling with two offences of escaping from lawful custody and the earlier charges of theft.

He has been sent to prison until 8^th September for the hearing of both cases to begin.
