Primary Four Kid Knocked Dead In Hit & Run Accident

A primary four pupil of Nyamitanga Primary school in Sembabule district has been knocked dead in hit and run accident.

Musa Ssekandi has been knocked dead by a speeding tipper truck registration number UAU 803C that was traveling from Nyamitanga to Ntusi in Sembabule district.

According to the deceased’s father Muhamad Kalanzi, the deceased was traveling back home from Nyamitanga trading center where he had gone to buy some items from the shop.

Kalanzi says that he was shocked to get information that his son had been killed in a hit and run accident by a truck that was transporting hardware materials.

Masaka Region Traffic Police Commander, James Tebaijuka confirmed the accident attributing it to reckless driving by the truck driver.

Tebaijuka says that police is hunting for the truck driver who disappeared shortly after causing the accident.

The deceased’s body has been taken to hospital for postmortem as investigations into the cause of the accident goes on
