President Yoweri Museveni who is also the National Resistance Movement (NRM) national chairman is to address party delegates at the special organs and league conference today.
The conference has drawn participants from across the country including sub county chairpersons of respective leagues like women, Youth, People With Disabilities and the Elderly among others.
Hundreds of the delegates arrived yesterday and were accredited at Kololo Independence Grounds.
A number of those that spoke to KFM could not conceal their excitement, saying they were hoping for a free and fair electoral process.
At the two-day conference delegates will also endorse president Museveni as the NRM flag bearer for the 2016 race.
