President Yoweri Museveni is in South Africa for the 10th anniversary of the Pan African Parliament.
He is expected to meet his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma and later address the Pan-African Parliament.
The year 2014 marks 10 years of existence of the PAP and offers members an opportunity to reflect on the activities undertaken so far.
The convention is running under the theme “Ten years of existence of the Pan African Parliament: Reflections on its role”.
The President was received at Lanseria International Airport by the South African Minister of Transport Mr. Ben Martins, Ugandan High Commissioner to South Africa Julius Moto and PAP’s outgoing member Cecilia Ogwal and new head of delegation to PAP Onyango Kakooba.
