Members of the poor youth’s brigade have announced plans to walk for a whole month to Kenya.

The walk dubbed “the long walk to freedom” is meant to coincide with the United States president’s visit to Kenya in July.

Addressing members of the press this morning, the youths led by Richard Kirekyankuba said their goal is to deliver a petition to Obama highlighting the current situation in Uganda.

He says they have already written to the American embassy in Uganda about their plans and yet to get a response.
