By Samuel Ssebuliba.

Political scientists have expressed dismay over the recent fall out between the president and judiciary over the recent constitutional ruling.

Last week the president attacked the constitutional court for its refusal to endorse the extension of term of service for MPs from five to seven.

Speaking to KFM, Ambassador HeroldAchema a political analysts said that president must uphold the rule of law as promised during swearing.

He says, the president must realize that for the rule of law to prevail, aggrieved parties must be allowed to freely proceed to court for redress, unlike his decision to address this issue with NRM Members of Parliament.
