As the world counts down to the start of the world cup tournament this week, the Uganda police force says it has heightened security at all public places set to screen the matches.
The Uganda police spokesperson Fred Enanga says today they will circulate security guidelines that must be complied to during the month-long tournament.
Yesterday all division police commanders started inspection of public places to ensure that they have adequate security measures.
Enanga says these guidelines entail what is required of all public places that will screen the games and those who don’t adhere to the guidelines risk closure.
