Four Kajansi police officers accused of trying to rob a woman in Ntinda a Kampala suburbs have been denied bail by city Hall Court grade one magistrate Moses Nabende.

The four wanted to be granted bail asked Court to released them on bail but the trial magistrate Moses Nabende declined are in trouble after being arrested by fellow police officers while trying to rob a woman in Ntinda a Kampala suburb.

The four charged before City Hall Court grade one magistrate Moses Nabende who remanded them to Luzira prison after denying the offence of attempted robbery.

The suspects are PC John Emojong attached to Kikuubo police post, PC Michael Ojok attached to Kiira division police, PC Earnest Okello attached to Field Force Unit Naguru and PC Isaac Ochom attached to Kikuubo police posts and all residents of Kajansi police barracks.

Prosecution states that the police officers with help of two civilians on 27th July 2015 at plot 29 B Ntinda two Road attempted to rob a one Josephine Ojambo of cash and threatened to use deadly weapon to wit four guns on her (Ojambo).

The magistrate remanded them until 24th /8/2015 when they will re-appear for hearing of the case
