The Police Chief Gen. Kale Kayihura has assured Muslims of total security as they celebrate Eidh.
He has also congratulated the Muslim community upon successful completion of Ramadhan.
In a statement, Gen Kayihura says Uganda is very safe and secure and continues to register a downward trend in the crime rate.
He has implored all Muslims to embrace community policing and undertake rational measures to promote social justice.
He also urges Muslims to remain vigilant and promote security as they celebrate Eidh-El-Fitri today.
