Police in Katwe have arrested a man in relation to the kidnap and murder of a woman in Massaja, a Kampala suburb.
The body of the late 33 year old Charity Kyohairwe was discovered at Nalukolongo on Saturday after it was reportedly dumped their by unknown criminals who kidnapped her on Thursday.
Now addressing journalists today at CPS, the police spokesperson Emilian Kayima said the man arrested is the father of the deceased children but he declined to give details saying it would jeopardize investigations.
He says police in Katwe has teamed up with other specialized units to hunt for the criminals and bring them to book.
Kyohirwe’s kidnap and murder comes shortly after the death of Susan Magara who was killed in the same manner.
