Parliament will next week hold a special session to honour the late Dr. Margaret Mungerera.

Speaking at a requiem service at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero, the Prime Minister, Dr Ruhakana Rugunda said the decision was made by cabinet yesterday.

Rugunda says the session will honour and recognize her contribution towards the development of quality medical care in the country.

Rugunda has also encouraged all medical practitioners nationwide to pick a leaf from the late Dr Mungererea and ensure efficient service delivery to the people wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile the premier has given Shs.10M to the family of the late Margaret Mungherara to help with burial expenses.

The Requiem service for is still ongoing.
