Parliament resumes business today

The fate of embattled Bubulo West MP, Tony Kipoi will be known today.

Parliament reconvenes today for the 1^st sitting of the 3^rd meeting of the 3^rd session after about two months on recess.

The House’s Rules, Privileges and Discipline committee is expected to table its findings following a probe into the conduct of Kipoi, after he missed more than 15 sittings of the House without explanation.

The committee last year recommended the removal of Gen. David Ssejusa as army MP after he also missed more than 15 sittings of the House without notifying the Speaker.

Parliament later adopted the report, paving way for his removal.
